morning lucy

who wouldn't want to wake up to this face?  i love my lucy.  when tyler gets up at 5am for work or has a clinical, i take lucy in bed with me and we have snuggle time.  i usually feed her and then fall back asleep.  only to be woken up by her talking or laughing to herself.  i can't seem to get enough of her.  mornings are my very favorite time.

solid time

when lucy had her 4 month check up, we were told it was time for lucy to eat solids.  i didn't want to feed her solids because that meant she was growing up too quickly.  but i had to cave.  we started today with rice cereal.  she's not a huge fan.  tyler snuck in a titch of sugar and she still doesn't love it.  but she sure loves her new bumbo chair.  she loves to sit up now and likes being more independent and aware of what's around her.  this girl is growing like a weed and this momma is not ready.

lucy and i went to visit the bigelows.  lucy loves her conrad and phoebe.  conrad decided that my hair was too messy, that i needed piggies in my hair.  he ran to the bathroom, grabbed some hair stuff and a pretty headband for me and started working on my hair.  i think it works for me.
